But I think it looks cute like this so I might leave it like this for awhile. It supposed to have 11 spots on its back (I've made 2) and 8 pom-poms for the mane (I've made 3) but that part is so tedious. I kind of like the plain giraffe.

that is so cute! just buy felt and cut out the spots:) it'll be quicker, but maybe wouldn't have the same look that you are going for.
