38 Weeks + 1 Day

So, I'm 38 weeks 1 Day today! We're are thinking/guessing our little boy will make his appearance sometime towards the end of this week. Probably right around 39 weeks. I haven't really had very many contractions the past two days, probably because I've just been sitting around. (I'm exhausted and have basically cleaned the entire house already! Not much left to do.)

Last Friday at my appointment, I was 2 cm dilated, 70% effaced, and he was at a -1 station. My doc thinks he's going to come sometime this week too. (But who knows, he might be stubborn and be late!) My doc is on call all day Saturday and that was our birthday guess, initially. So, I told my doctor we'll just plan on Saturday! She's like, "great, it's a date!" And all of the ladies at church don't expect me there next Sunday(probably means I will be there...)

Anyway, getting close. Am I excited? Yes. Am I nervous? Of course. Will everything go as planned? Definitely not, but I'm ok with that.
