Great News!

We finally sold our Civic after about 6 weeks on the market! Yay, I am so relieved!

BTW, it is hard to sell a car privately. I completely understand now why my dad always traded in his cars, but we figured we could make a lot more selling it privately. Every contact we made with someone about the car was off of Craigslist. And never received any phone calls or emails from anyone on Autotrader. My suggestion is to not waste your money on Autotrader. I've heard this from others as well.

The couple who bought our car were so friendly and it is nice to see Blu going to a good family. As we drove away from their house, I turned in my seat and watched as she got smaller in the distance.

And then I cried!! Blu was my first car. I've driven her everywhere. She was my baby.

And then I looked at Sterling and he started crying (ok, not quite crying, but tearing up.) We've had so many memories with her. She is the first car we ever bought together. We've driven her on so many trips, to the beach, on hikes, to Montana, Utah, Washington, Idaho, etc. She's always been a great, reliable car.

I'll miss you, Blu!

Yay!! I'm glad you finally sold it! But I'm sad for you at the same time:( However, you look super cute in your picture! I love your dress!

P.S. Only nine weeks and six days!!

Congrats! Selling a car is such a relief! But can be sad sometimes, too. I felt that way when Eric and I sold the first car we owned together. It was the car that we drove in when we were dating, drove home from the temple in when we got married, etc. :)
