Nativity Set

I'm part of the Relief Society activities committee at church and we decided to make this nativity set at our upcoming activity night...

They're painted dark brown (Bittersweet Chocolate Americana paint from Michaels) and then sanded with a heavy grain sandpaper. If you want a set (unfinished), let me know. The tallest wise man is about 5 inches tall. The set costs $3.00 plus shipping.

Only $3 plus shipping?? That's not bad at all! I think I may need one...I don't have a nativity set.

Really only $3 for all that?! How thick are the pieces...I'm needing a reasonably durable set necause no matter where I put it I know Maddy is gonna gettt it and play with it!

Cassidy: The wood is MDF board and it's about 3/4 inch thick. We've had a lot of women at church sign up for that very reason, so their kids could get hold of it. And ya, it's $3 just for the wood cut out and I can send some raffia so you don't have to buy a big pack of that, plus shipping. You'd have to get your own paint though (they're about a dollar at Michael's) and use some sandpaper (we just had some lying around.)
