Recipes

Per your request...

Sugar Cookies

1/2 C. Powdered Sugar
1 C. margarine/butter, soft
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
-Mix together

2 1/2 C. Flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
-Mix in

Refridgerate for 2 hours (you might have to let it soften back up after refridgerating to make rolling easier)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and put foil on cookie sheet.

Roll out the dough ( I usually do this on wax paper with some flour on the wax paper and flour on the rolling pin.) Use cookie cutters to cut out your favorite shapes.

Bake for 7-8 minutes.

Makes approximately 32 cookies

Icing for Sugar Cookies

1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
2 TBL Water
1 C. Crisco
4 C. Powdered Sugar

Mix together, add additional water 1 tsp at a time for desired consistency.

Add in food coloring if desired.

Makes plenty of icing for all of your cookies!

After cookies cool, put on icing and eat it! Yummy!!! :)
