I just had the feeling of losing a child. Aahh. Scary. We live close to a busy street, so we don't let our cat out without someone outside with him. And I was looking down for a few seconds and when I had looked back up, he had ran off.

Seriously, our cat is just like my own baby. I've never been attached to animal before like I am to this cat. Calvin- my baby. He is part of the family.

Well, I walked around calling out his name and he is usually good at responding in some way, but he wasn't. I about had a heart attack. Finally, I decided to just sit on the front porch until he came back. (He refuses to go to the bathrrom outside, so I knew eventually he would come back to the house to use his litter. That's if he didn't get hit by a car!)

Then Calvin came back and snuck up on me. I was so relieved. That crazy cat. That is why I always have Sterling bring him out. Good thing the weather is very nice outside and I was able to sit there and try to relax.

Ok, not quite like losing a child, but for me, it is the closest I can get.

I love my cat.

How can you resist those eyes?

One of the many times Calvin came to sleep with me after Sterling leaves in the morning.
Can you see his smile? Too cute!
