May be TMI...

Our new cat, Max, absolutely loves the bathroom. He'll climb onto the side of the shower and stand there watching the water until we're done, he likes to drink out of the faucet, but his favorite thing in the bathroom has to be the toilet. I'm just waiting for the day when he actually goes to the bathroom in the toilet.

Thing he likes most about the toilet: watching the water and other contents go down the hole when you flush!

We've been trying to break him of his habit. He has been obsessed. We could never go to the bathroom without him coming in waiting for us to flush the toilet. He would always jump up on the seat and just watch as everything went down and then filled up again. I kept on telling Sterling, I'm just waiting for the day when he falls in. Oh ya, he also likes to drink out of the toilet. Gross!

To break him of his habit, we've been putting the cover down before we flush and he has been slowing coming out of it.

Well, last night, I was locking up the house and I heard the shower running. I thought that was odd because Sterling doesn't usually take a shower at night unless he has been working out and since he is sick, I thought it was weird.

I was halfway up the stairs when I hear a cat crying as if it was dying. I run up to the bathroom and Sterling would not let me in. I yelled and yelled at him, "what are you doing to the cat!?"

Finally, Sterling opens the door and he's drying off Max. Poor Max was drenched and looked miserable.

I couldn't help but laugh and ask what happened.

Apparently, Max thought it was a grand idea to jump on the toilet seat while Sterling was peeing! Needless to say, Max got a face full of pee and all over his back. A-hahahaha! So, Sterling had to quickly throw him in the shower to wash him off. A-hahaha! Sterling came out of it with zero scratchs. Sterling-1, Max-0.

I thought that would turn Max off of his obsession with the bathroom, but nope he was in there again this morning, hoping to see the swirl of the toilet being flushed! Crazy MaxCat!
