I graduate in 4.5 weeks! I have never felt so relieved!!!! Yay, yay, yay!
This quarter has been going by at lightening speed. I can barely catch my breath at the end of every week. So far, this quarter has been the most intense. I'm taking the least amount of hours I've ever taken at one time, but I am by far studying more than ever. My Business Strategy class isn't too hard, but very time consuming. We are playing this business simulation game, Capsim. We have to run a business including the financing, forecasting for production, creating new products, figuring product pricing, R&D, building capacity and automation, creating sales and promo budgets, creating customer awareness and accessibility to our products, etc. It's pretty intense. It's kind of fun because we get the "business experience" but at the same time it's not that realistic. We can only make decisions once a "year/round." In real life we would be making decisions everyday. So, it makes it a little tough to be able to plan for what is going to happen at the end of each year/round.
My Finance Case Studies class is a joke. I've never seen a lazier teacher in my life. She doesn't even grade our work. The students grade each others work. Remember that girl I complained about a few months ago (a few blogs ago.) Well, she is in my class. Guess who graded some of my work? That's right. She did. Very very biased against me. We were graded on a presentation that we did and there was no way I did that much worse than my other teammates. I even asked them about it and they thought it was biased too. Oh well. Back to my teacher... she never teaches anything, has completely lost her passion for teaching, expects us to be able to read her mind, doesn't grade us on Finance but on grammar, etc. Oh well again, I am out of there in 4.5 weeks!
My Advanced Taxation class is a beast! We got our midterm grades back on Tuesday and the class average was a 63%. Ouch. Thank goodness he puts a hefty curve on it. My 69% turned into a B+, I think. All he told us was a 54% or higher was a B. I guess we'll see at the end of the quarter.
Well, I was just writing this blog to procrastinate my homework. I guess it is back to homework now.
Bye for now!
Oh ya, we're going to Palm Springs next week. Yes!
